How will the decision be made about what type and how much support my child will receive?
In most instances your child’s needs will be met by the quality teaching that takes place in their classroom.
Additional assessments from outside services, such as an Educational Psychologist will inform the types of help and resources needed
If your child is not making the anticipated progress then we would investigate other routes to support them
Personalised and group learning programmes are developed on need
Regular review meetings with staff and parents are carried out to discuss your child’s progress and any additional needs that require support. Pupil progress meetings highlight any instances where children seem to have a barrier to learning.
